I tied my filter pump and gas-fired heater together on the same gfci breaker. Inspector failed me. Said it needed to be dedicated. I don't see this in 680.28. Do you agree?

It could be in the Manufactures instructions for the gas fired heater.

I don't see anywhere where a pool pump or a gas fired heater needs a separate circuit. Ask him to give you a section number
