Pool area conduit

I cannot find any article indicating conduit types for overhead lighting and power (12'+ above water surface). Can I use rigid non metallic conduit for this?
This is an indoor pool also. Thanks in advance for your knowledge and expertise.
 
I think it is a design choice. My inclination would be PVC, but if you plan to paint it the same color as the ceiling maybe EMT or rigid is in order as it paints better.

A better question would be if the area 12' + above a pool is considered a corrosive environment, and I don't believe that it is. Just looking for some conformation. Thanks, Ricky
