I typically put glue in the threads to as it goes on the steel conduit better.

I do the same and also apply to threads of the adapter. Makes easy and the fitting threads in or on all the way. The glue softens it up a bit. Once applied be quick about it. I watch the apprentices struggle once I showed them they were not fare man.

Yep I use mostly polar weld I believe is what it’s called. And you had better no what you wanna do with it before you apply it lol.
