Good morning all,

I was curious if anyone here can give me some information as to if there is a way anyone is looking up and using the code book on there iPhone. Or if you guys use any helpful apps

What code cycle? Up to the 2017 you could buy the PDF version and save it to the phone. I have the 2008 through 2017 on my phone. I'm on Android which is simple not sure about the iPhone.

Though some paid versions had better navigation features (at least ones designed to run on PC's) there is always NFPA's free access on their website, but navigation features are very limited. Mostly is just links to go to beginning of the major sections then have to scroll/page to all other subsections. Can't copy or paste anything from this either, but you do have pretty much every edition they ever published available. That at least comes in handy for looking up what may have been requirements at a particular time.

is anyone willing to share it!? I’m just starting out my education I really don’t have the 220 to buy it right now unfortunately. If not no worries I will save towards it

If you are on 2020, you are out of luck on PDF since they chose not to offer it in PDF form, probably to stop people from "sharing" it.

You could always put in some significant time and make screen shot of every page from the free online version

If anyone would be so kind to share it my email is edit to remove linkit would be greatly appreciated

There are some online articles on how to automate having your browser fetch every page and save the images and then turn them into a PDF. Took me a couple hours to do for the 2020 NEC.

Cheers, Wayne

Not sure of any changes from draft copy and final copy of the 2017. But, they had put the draft copy online as a pdf. That is what I downloaded and used. Both searchable and copyable (sp?). If you can't find it send me an im.

I was able to get this app on iPhone. It is awesome to navigate, I use it everyday. I went to App Store to find it and I can't. It won't even let me share the link. So.... you may be stuck with PDFs

That went away after the 2017 edition. It is all NFPA LiNK now...a subscription service with a monthly or yearly fee. There will be no PDFs for any code after the 2017 from the NFPA.
