Disconnecting means

I have an install where 2 circulation pumps that are part of a geothermal system are located remotely from the heat pump. Both pumps get their power from a relay located in the unit. Would the disconnecting means for the heat pump meet the requirement for the circulation pumps even though it's on the main level and the pumps are in the crawl space?

Within sight and not exceeding 50' is the rule. If you had to replace one of the pumps, could you see the disconnecting means?

Are the pumps hard wired or plugged into receptacles?

Hardwired from the heat pump .

probably need a disconnecting means down by where the pumps actually are located then.

Then you need a disconnect within sight.

There are exceptions, mostly having to do with industrial installations under engineering supervision with established safety protocols, but that never applies to a residential installation.
