thanks for the feed back. the label says QO 2 pole.It may be old but those are still made. It is a switched neutral. Usually used in fuel stations.
It does not look like you have a 2 pole version.
However are there 2 buss stabs?thanks for the feed back. the label says QO 2 pole.
Yes, there are two bus stabs. the load is 120v lighting for the galley. However are there 2 buss stabs?
What was on the load side?
you were right!! thank you for the feedbackHowever are there 2 buss stabs?
What was on the load side?
The lead goes to the neutral bus and the load to the lug, like with a GFCI.I also see on the label where the pigtail is that is says "for switched neutral applications connect flexible lead to neutral"
That makes it sound like it could be used without switching a neutral. I have never used one of these. I don't understand how you get a connection to the neutral bus. It reads like you tie your load neutral to the flex lead, but how does it actually connect to the neutral bar?
What you are seeing is a single stab for the retaining rail. Other side will have 2 buss stabs. However are there 2 buss stabs?
What was on the load side?
See post #10 & #12, only one bus stab. What you are seeing is a single stab for the retaining rail. Other side will have 2 buss stabs.
I agee... the ones I have seen only have 1 buss stap and since you are not switching the neutral repalce it with a SP breaker.See post #10 & #12, only one bus stab.
My question was not what we see in the picture, that is the retention clip not the buss stab as I had inquired....2 poles does not necessarily mean 2 hots. What you are seeing is a single stab for the retaining rail. Other side will have 2 buss stabs.
