It’s not possible to get MC cable without a neutral correct ?
Can you use the neutral as a phase conductor is you re-identify it?

Thanks looks like I can but have to identify it with any color tape other than white, gray or green.

If you guys had a temp situation and using MC cable for the primary and didn't need the neutral would you?

1. Get 3/C MC and use the neutral as a phase conductor
2. Get 4/C MC and not use the neutral?

If purchasing for that situation probably option 1.

If already available or have a good chance of needing the 4/C cable elsewhere after the temp use is over, then probably option 2.
