Need to bring a run of fiber optic cable into a structure from underground. Diameter of the fiber is .354” where or how do I determine the bend radius of 3” pvc LB?

Info I have come across on minimum bend of the fiber is 10x the outer diameter, does this sound correct?

That would mean a 3.54" radius. See if a 1/2" elbow will fit in a 3" LB.

An empty LB has a very small inside radius with nothing to keep the fiber rounded.

I think you will need a mogul conduit body to get enough space for the required radius, and that might not be large enough.

We would often cut a section of PVC conduit that has the required radius and place it in the conduit body to keep the fiber routed, but never with with cables that required that large of a bending radius.
For this I would probably be looking at a short section of wireway and something inside of the wireway to maintain the radius.
