220V 3 phase rated motor to 208V 3 phase input?

I have a particular case where they want to use an equipment that is rated for 220V 3 phase to be connected to 208V 3 phase. I don't see an issue since 208V is within the 220V. See attached pic. Is it worth getting a buck-boost transformer 208 to 240V?? Thank you

What’s the voltage exactly in the shop.
Not 120/208 but actually check the voltage and see what it is.
We keep ours about 216 at the delivery point.
 
In my opinion, the 207v is too low, and probably should be boosted.

The higher the voltage (within range), the cooler the motor will run.

I would consult the motor or the saw manufacturer to be sure.

Can you get a look at the actual motor nameplate itself?
 
I'm suspect of anything sold in the US saying 220 or 440 volt. The manual says
Nominal Voltage ................... 220V, 230V, 240V
Cycle ..........................................................60 Hz
Phase .................................................... 3-Phase
Power Supply Circuit ......................... 30 Amps

I'd just call Grizzly and ask them.
 
It will work fine. The main concern with low voltage is for the same power, more current flows resulting in more winding heating. Since a bandsaw load factor is so small, it won’t be an issue.
