pvc in walls

in a small restaurant when pvc is used as underground path to walls, what is the best way to transition into the boxes?

Can you just continue on with PVC directly into the box?

If occupancy is 100 or more it possibly could be considered a place of assembly and PVC might not be allowed for the above grade portions. If that were the case I'd probably put female adapters flush with floor and convert to a metallic method above the floor. Concrete guys will appreciate you making it flush regardless, easier to finish the concrete. Hint, when you tape the opening closed also tape a small zip tie to side of conduit and leave just a half maybe 3/4 inch of the tie above finish floor level. A power trowel will go right over that small zip tie but will still stick up and make it easier to find your conduit when you do want to access it later on.

I use rigid elbows at the floor riser. can't easily snap those off flush!

What exactly do you mean by that? It doesn't take any more space than RMC does.
