Hello,

I need to add a 1/0 neutral in a 200 AMP Challenger residential panel for a subpanel. I will be changing the service in a few months, but I need to get the subpanel up and running as soon as possible. I called Eaton, and they said they didn’t have a lug that fits. The panel is fed with a SEU cable. I was wondering if anyone knew of the lug that would fit, or another solution? Again this only temporary, as I will be changing the service in a couple of month.

Thank you!

I guess you could just separate the strands and insert them into two adjacent holes on the neutral bus. Not code legal but it seems you will be unlikely to find a code legal solution.

What size is the incoming neutral? Maybe a Polaris connector on it that accommodates an outgoing 1/0 as well.

I think it's a 3/0 copper. I only have this picture. I need to open the panel for myself

The incoming neutral is the bare copper from the SEU? If your outgoing neutral is also copper, you wouldn't even need a Polaris connector, just a split-bolt connector.
