hi,
if i have a 25kw generator and it only has 1 built in circuit breaker. but i need to put 2 circuits to it.
- a fire pump controller with ats
- a 60amp ats for the jockey pump
do i just put a tap box after the generator breaker (by observing 10ft or 25ft tap rule) then just split the tap to the fire pump controller and the 60amp ats?
if yes, is there anything else i have to consider to be code compliant?
if not, if i will replace the tap box with an electrical panel, will i have to size the breaker to the locked rotor current of the fire pump (300amp)?
thanks,
