There was all kinds of really innovative stuff back then. They used to build quality appliances in the past I used to have a 1965 Frigidaire Flair range, the oven doors were the most practical design, they lifted up out of the way.
We're looking at an oven that has french doors. As you get older, lifting the turkey over a 2' oven door that's 400 degrees starts getting a little dicey. They used to build quality appliances in the past I used to have a 1965 Frigidaire Flair range, the oven doors were the most practical design, they lifted up out of the way.
The owner is a 71 year old lady, and it's her brother I'm dealing with. He said for 20 years she's wanted to dump it and get new, but he won't let her because it all works. He's thinking the same thingBeautiful! I hope they plan to save it! If not, some museums of mid-century modern might be interested!
