Generator shopping

I am shopping for a towable 3 phase diesel generator for our school district. Some of our buildings are 240v 3 phase wild leg. I have found some voltage descriptions to be pretty vague (selectable). Can I assume all 240v 3 phase generators have a wild leg? Thanks.

Get one that has the manual voltage selector. It can be configured as a 120/208 wye, or 120/240 delta by just turning a lever. Check with your local rental place, they can steer you in the right direction. It may even be better to get a rental agreement with them to deliver when you need it. They keep up all the maintenance instead of you.

Most of the smaller ones I have seen only have wye setting, 208/120 or 240/139. Some larger ones do have a delta setting as well. I could probably reconfigure most permanently for delta by getting rid of the switch but it is a lot of work rejiggering the controls to work with it.
