Fixture Install

Well this is a unique install. GC is asking bidders how they plan on installing this strip under the granite step. There is only 1" space to install it. There are 5 runs at about 150'.

I mentioned to pre install it before the section of step gets set but they mentioned how heavy it was but that doesn't make sense to me as it has to be set( lifted etc.) anyway. I don't see how it could be installed after the step is set. Maybe slide it in? Each fixture length come either 4' 6' or 8'. Need to connect each length with a jumper cable.

Unless there is an epoxy product that would allow them to be placed after the steps are set I don’t see any alternative.

If you don’t think you can set these when the steps are set. This is the dumbest design possible they will need to be replaced some day???
You got an inch things 1/2 inch deep, small fingers lol. What a dump design

Be a hell of a lot easier to pre do it.

What’s the step length is it 150’ or segmented?

I guess with epoxy you can chisel them out.
