I am installing a 120V surface water pump in a catch basin to remove surface water from a driveway. This will only occasionally be used and does not warrant a lengthy buried conduit in an existing slab. Is there an approved ingress-protected male socket to accept a standard extension cable?
 
FWIW, Cooper I think, can be converted from outlet to inlet by buying their appropriate cord end.
At first I thought you were talking about making a suicide cord and I laughed. Then I thought maybe you can modify something like what Roger posted to be an innie or an outie. Now I'm confused and I don't want ponder gender reassignment of devices so I'm going to take a nap
