Rewiring Hunter fan pull chain

I have a Hunter original fan. It must be 30 year old. The fan is controlled by a wall switch/speed control. I will spare you the details but I would like to disconnect/disable the pull chain switch. The fan would be permanently wired for high speed and the wall control will do the rest.
The pull chain switch has several wires. Any ideas how to do this?

3 tails off the hot to each of the 3 speeds...
You must really really like that fan...
If the speed control box inside the fan is visibly damaged from heat- do yourself a favor and junk it!

The switch should have four wires. ID the incoming hot, and experiment to find which load wire runs the fan fastest, and cap off the other two.

It might depend if wall switch is a actual controller or just (3) sp...
The ones in the canopy (if one is there) may be neutrals, now that i think about it.
