Can the generator two wire start conductors be run with the power conductors? What type of circuit conductors are these?
Is there an NEC issue or is this just manufacturer instructions? They would have to be 600 volt rated, and Generac is the only manufacturer that I know of that allows them to be run with the power conductors. Cummins and Kohler require them to be in a separate conduit. Alarm wiring can also be in the same conduit.
To answer that you would need to know if the start circuit is a Class 1 circuit or a Class 2 circuit. Is there an NEC issue or is this just manufacturer instructions?
Manufacturer instructions which are required by the NEC to follow. Is there an NEC issue or is this just manufacturer instructions?
Yes I didnt word that well, I am aware 110.3(B) (probably) requires instructions be followed. I should have said, "Is there another section besides manufacturer instructions"Manufacturer instructions which are required by the NEC to follow.
I take pretty much everything a manufacturer says about anything electrical with a grain of salt..... Or just ignore it.... or dont even read the instructions.I've seen every kind of wiring done that does not meet manufacturer specs and never a problem from it, like not even once.
Not advising, just observing
