Connection Type for building steel grounding electrode

We don't do a lot of commercial/industrial so I don't have a flash welder for making building steel connections for the Grounding Electrode. Are there good alternate mechanical connectors that we can use and what do you recommend? Thanks!

There are a number of mechanical clamps listed for connecting a GEC to steel.

To Don's point you would need to use a listed mechanical connector. I've seen many guys just use a 1/4" beam clamp with a lug. Not something like this:

Lol. I snapped that picture in a federal office building where it was used for the IG connection.

Funny thing about that photo is that I posted it here several years ago and I was at a NJ CEU seminar and the instructor had it in his PowerPoint presentation.

I would never use that clamp! I have a number of NM clamps/connectors that fit around pipes!
Unless I need to use them to bug on to the service wires, I have plenty.
