CT consumption extension

Was trying to find some 600 V twisted pair and man that’s a pain in the butt…
I gotta go pretty far so I was going up at 10 gauge. I found this form talking about if twisted pea was mandatory.

Oops! We ran into some problems.

Seems like reading through N phase and through that form that it’s recommended but not mandatory on the consumption cts

sorry vague on that. its from my enphase combiner to system controller - For monitoring the utility and also the battery my run is 200 from the system controller to my combiner and my 5p batteries right next to combiner

The leads of a CT are low volt, low current. You don't need 600v rating.

Consider that most all THHN and Romex is 600v rated. Sometimes the adequate wire is not marked. What is the distance of the length needed for the CTs?

Just changing the voltage rating of the conductor does not permit you to run what appears to be a Class 2 circuit with line voltage conductors.

to bad can't do that- I got another conduit I ran for that at the start. enphase Said its not class 2 it can run with power circuit---- was just asking for verification--- worse ill do Is just run in the other conduit.

Its my first one learning curves man

and if you ask question and figure it out and take training- then your qualified- already got my dumb installer cert for this but it did not address it point blank- figured I ask and get a response-- guess I did lol

Which makes sense when used inside of the equipment. We just make our own twisted pair with a black and white spool of stranded THHN wire and a cordless drill. Twisting 200' might require some type of jig.

what are they classed as though. I asked emphases they were Silent on that,but said run with power and there not class 2—
So does that make them automatically class 1?…

Ya twists the 10 going to fun—- but better than buying—- enphase say for my length I can use 14 I may just do that—
