Ceiling fan recommendations

What are your experiences with Hunter versus Honeywell fans in the $200-$500 price range? I have multiple customers that always ask about fan recommendations and I generally point them to Hunter but was curious on your thoughts.

Griffon Corporation, who also owns Casablanca, bought Hunter in 2020 (I think) There are obviously different grades of Hunter fans. The ones you get at the big box stores are no better than Harbor Breeze or Hampton Bay. You just pay slightly more for the Hunter name. You can get a mid-grade or high end Hunter fan, just not at Lowes or HD. They will only carry items that will fly off the shelves.

Where do you buy the high-end Hunter? Thanks.
 
I used to install many Casablanca fans in the 80's and early 90's. and though they were well built. When Hunter purchased them I feel they became one of the worst fans built. All Hunter kept was the original styles. Every thing else (motors, electronics, mountings) was changed to cheap crappy garbage.

Minka has some nice designs at reasonable price points.

We install quite a few Big Ass Fans but their price point is higher. I have 3 BAF in my own house.

My home was built in 97. The Casablancas installed then were still the good ones. Hunter bought them in 96, so I just got in before they ruined them.
