I know spec dictates. But if your running PVC coated RMC and using pvc coated straps, strut and rod would the nuts be pvc coated( do they even make) or stainless?

Companies that make PVC-coated conduit have available cans of touch-up goo that is used to repair damage to the coating as well as coat things like locknuts.

They make PVC coated rod? We always used stainless steel hardware with PVC coated galvanized conduit.

Then I would think that whatever system you're using for the rod they would also manufacturer PVC coated hardware.

On our jobs, the strut, straps, rod and hardware would be stainless

The only pvc coated straps we used were the one hole malleable type with coated backs.

Just dip it. I guess you would cut off the coating on the ends before you installed the nut.
