Has work slowed

Seems like for me since the gas prices has hiked up drastically. People aren’t calling as much. Could just be a dip since nothing’s ever steady.

Things are finally ramping up in Iowa, this has been probably the hardest winter I've been through. I've had slow winters, like a week or two slow, this was winter over two months of slow. Tons on my list but couldn't do anything until it got warm. And now its April, and it rains every other day, so its slow going, but we are finally getting some work done. And now that's its warm out, NOW everyone comes at me wanting bids and estimates, where were these people in February when I had time lol. Gas prices don't deter anyone in my area from spending, if they want it done, they're going to get it done.

It’s probably just a slump tax time— it’s just if I’m not busy working my mind starts getting paranoid
 
I'm in the Kansas City area, and yes thing have slowed a bit. Seems like the only service work for me and my guys is critial failure related stuff that has to be fixed, like a main lug on a 400A panel that fried the other day. One thing that was smoking hot a few years ago was commercial office remodeling, and that has totally halted. I have a lot of subs looking for work.
 
We usually get section 179 jobs before Jan 1 and didn't see much. Full tax credit on anything energy efficiency.
