Question #1: If I parallel 5 fixtures on a 0-10 dimmer and the 0-10 volt wire is around 150' in length will there be a voltage drop issue? 150' would be from the switch to the furthest fixture.

Question 2: What kind of wire should a guy use for this LV dimming circuit?

Voltage drop shouldn't be an issue. The loaded question is how are you going to run the 0-10V wiring? All by itself any 18ga CL2 wiring as allowed in the ceiling space will suffice. When you want to run it with the power it becomes more complicated.

I was going to run 14-2 romex. I know its over kill but at leat the wire is rated to be with class 1. Will that work?

Sure it will work. And it isn't with class 1 (really power) anyway if you are running it separately. Only problem I can see is confusing the 0-10V romex and conductors from the power romex (which I assume you are using) at the fixtures. You don't want to do that! Bad things will happen. That's why I would use a different wire.

How much VD you have is dependent on how much current is flowing in the circuit. I don't know what this circuit draws, but guessing is in the mA ranges.

Might I add, romex(nm-b) is not compliant above a drop ceiling except for dwellings.

OP never said it was in a drop ceiling. First reply suggested that. But is something to think about.

18-2 CL2 cable is acceptable but NM is not - other than when the ceiling is also used for environmental air doesn't really make any sense.
