I noted that I started the #1 code forum topic for 2011

This is a device that feeds power from a UPS receptacle to premise wiring.

Has anyone looked at the 2014 NEC proposals for Art 400 to see if there was a proposal for this? I am going thru the proposals starting at CMP 1

Yes, that would be interesting to know. I'm in the camp that says it is compliant. There are a number of companies that have made these for years now. I've never had an AHJ question them.
