10’ Tap Rule

Hi All.

I have (2) questions.

1. I have a set of 3-phase feeders with a neutral in an enclosed circuit breaker that I would like to tap to feed a heater in the enclosure using the 10’ Tap Rule. I know how to implement the 10’ Tap Rule so that’s not the question. My question is tapping single phase off of 3-phase. I can really find any information on it,

2. Same scenario as above but the tapped conductors in question are a parallel set of feeders. If I do the above I think I would need to tap both conductors on each phase.

I don't believe (1) is prohibited.

You are correct that (2) is required, you may not tap any paralleled conductors unless you tap all of them.
