Can someone school me on medium voltage? Some questions may sound obvious but I want to hear your response anyway :lol:
1. Practical difference between pulling 5kV and 15kV
2. Which one is cheaper material and which one is more common?
3. Any reason why you couldn't use 15kV conductors when 5kV is called out?
4. Termination time associated with 5kV and 15kV load break elbows
5. Are load breaks / rubber goods the only items required to term?
6. Describe this cable: 4"C: 3-1/C, #350, 5kV EPR, COPPER MV105, #2BC
7. Is bare copper run separate of the conductors in the same conduit in question above?
8. Describe the designator "MV105" or "MV10" mean?
9. When is it required to splice a conductor if it doesn't term on a load break elbow?
10. What is associated with a splice? Describe labor hours and materials required.
