I found this in my mail and thought it'd be a good article to share with my fellow non-paying patrons...

As the title states its an article of things not to practice on the job!

I can only hope that one's management style is not like this!
Or as an employee that you'd even think of practicing any of the top ten!

Besides it's a long weekend (for most of us) and some light reading never hurt anyone, right! ?

While composing I kept thinking of how to say I want one to practice the "inverse rule", but having searched around for that expression, I came across this.

This in not exactly what I had in mind, but I found it to be so related to the nature of the first thread.

normally when I see these types of emails/lists I delete and move on, but that one is right on target.

I spent a good while this afternoon browsing that whole blog. There's a lot of other good stuff on that site.
 
Failing to have a life plan--All very successful people have a clear life plan, whether memorized or actually written down. They create it, massage it, and refer to it often.

I got an "F" on this one.

me too. what the hell is a life plan ? besides, if you are going to plan out your life, what's the fun in that ? the rest was good tho.
 
My life plan did not include that durn heart attack.

On that note I have been talking about kayaking the Potomac River since I was 18. See you in two weeks.
