Just kinda curious if say I need to run a conductor even close to this:
What are the highest temp rated conductors we have available ?
Type MI?
 
The critical technology in plasma fusion devices of the Tokomak type is that they use magnetic fields and electric currents to contain the plasma without it actually touching anything material.
Not necessarily because it would damage them but that they would cool down the plasma below the critical temperature for fusion.
 
And the conductors (superconductors) creating the magnetic confinement fields are held near the boiling point of helium, or about -269 degrees C (4.2 deg K).
 
The highest temperature insulation standard currently is class N. Motors are typically insulated to F in manufacturing and
