Is it true you cannot use a 100% rated breaker as a main circuit breaker (service entrance / disconnect means)? Someone told me it was aginst code to have a 100% rated breaker as a main at your service entrance however I could not find this requirement.
Yes, it can be applied anywhere but only at 80% unless listed for the installation a 100%. This involve both the enclosure as well as sizing and applying the cable.
