100 year Flood Plain Florida & electrical

Hey all, I'm being asked where/what code reference there may be regarding mounting of electrical at a specified height above the 100 year flood plain.

I think I ran into this in Naples Florida many years ago.

Do any of you guys have a code or standard reference regarding this?


I know its a long shot....

You would need to talk to your jurisdiction's Floodplain Administrator. Your floodplain ordinance will require, at a minimum, any equipment to be at or above base flood elevation. It could be higher based on your adopted ordinance.

City Hall or county courthouse, etc., floodsmart has a locater per zip code and the maps are being updated all the time.

If it is indeed Naples their planning dept. probably it will be your best bet...
most are on-line, BTW
