1000 amp ATS

We are installing a 1000 amp Automatic Transfer switch after the Main 1000 amp service switch,
Ther a re 3 lugs marked for the equopment grounds.What do I do with the grounds coming from the generator and from the service switch?
Please Help Thanks
 
I'm not following the question. If there are 3 lugs, then one for incoming source 1, one for source 2 and one for the load equipment grounding conductors? Is there not enough to receive the quantity of conductor terminations?

ron's answer in post #2 is correct on single phase or 3 phase.

sidebar: Is the neutral switched by the ATS ? Is the neutral bonded at the generator ?

FWIW, that scenario does not go together. (fairly common problem, that's why I asked :D)
If the neutral is bonded at the generator and not switched by the ATS, you have a violation of 250.24(A)(5).
 
Switched or not, there still needs to be terminal space for 9 ungrounded conductors and 3 grounded conductors if the system is a 3 phase wye system. It sounds like he has terminals for 3 EGCs and not for 3 grounded conductors.
