I never get into using over 600 volts conductors. Read 310.104

Table 310.104(A) is for 600 volt conductors, but 2014 does have a new footnote to recognize conductors can be rated up to 1000 V if listed and marked.

I have used the Canadian RWU90 for 690V installations in conduit. (1000V is printed on the jacket) especially for the larger conductor sizes.
