I just checked Bosch dishwashers. Their manual simply calls for copper supply conductors. Does this mean the utility feed needs to be copper also, what about utility transformer? Where does the supply end? Or is it as I said originally only the terminating conductors need to be copper.

The Bosch dishwashers I seen more recently came with cord and plug already on the appliance. Do they have any sort of authority to say what goes upstream of the receptacle in that situation?
