What size condcutors are you talking about? The Square D breaker info in your photo would allow two conductors #14-#10. Are you saying that they must be the same size?

Yes that's what I was saying. I had some reason to look into it, and found the restriction that
the two wires had to be the same size. And then had a situation where I tried to make it work with
two conductors of different size, one stranded one solid, and found the clamp really did not work all that well unless the lug came down symmetrically. If I remember right it was a #10 stranded plus a #8 solid.

I've seen plenty of lugs that are rated for one conductor, or unspecified, that would be fine with multiple stranded wires. But alas...
