Hello all, please forgive my ignorance but I want to know if you can branch out 120v circuits from a 240v 3 phase panel? I’m installing duplex receptacles (120v) but on the only panels available are 240v not 120/208v

To be honest, I’m not sure. The print I was given only has the layout and the reference to the panel which say “ PNL B 240v”
I’ll be able to look in the morning. I Will circle back tomorrow. Thank you

Too long to have asked the question that’s for sure But sometimes you forget simple things. At least I do. Lol

I realize now I need to check phase to neutral and two of three should read out 120v with the high leg being 240v… right?

I agree with post #6 ask your on site supervisor to help you.

Have you done this yet and no, the high leg will not be 240V

You will need to contact the POCO if you cannot somehow determine what the existing voltage is. Is the panel the service or is it fed from a feeder?
