ok (so i'm going to lose this bet) I have put forth that it makes sense to me that the 2 hot wires coming into a home can be split from 240v 200amp to 2 120v only boxes and have a total of 400 amps available at the new 120v boxes, like 200amp per box. I was told I was stupid, bet ya Friday lunch, google it. well Google doesn't prove it either way. someone with actual electrical knowledge help!
