Anyone familiar with electrical system at large marinas? We have job coming up that calls for power connections to handle 160ft yachts. I haven't gotten super deep in the research just yet, but from what I am finding, there is not really a universal standard when it comes to the power supply requirements. We have done smaller marinas, you know 20, 30, 50A connections... but those were not yachts. Is it typical for the owners to have frequency converters 50to60, 60to50?

Thanks

Probably varies a lot. I'd be inclined to find out what yachts they think will be coming and ask the manufacturer what power source is needed. But be ready for a wide assortment of connections and voltages, and maybe even frequencies.

That is what I am finding. No standard.
