1900 box in class 1 div 2?

Can you use a 1900 box(4 square) in class 1 div2 group d? This is just for wire pulling and splicing, no arcing device. I know it would need grounding bushings or something similar. I can't find anything in the 2011 code stating that I can't. In practice I have always used nema 12 boxes but was asked today what you have to use.

You have identified the primary issue, which NEMA 12 boxes share - properly bonding non-threaded enclosures.

You should also check Section 500.8(E)(3) for an issue not typically shared with NEMA 12 enclosures.
