Hey guys so i like be able to turn to this as another set of eyes and opinion.
Im wiring up my first dentist office in Mass.
It was 9 Dentist rooms and a X-ray room plus the front desk and waiting area.
Its a decent place not too huge but also not small.
its already gutted to a point but i do still need to demo electrical because it just hanging everywhere.
i don't need to add any panels because the ones that are there are 200amps and the service is somewhat new.
I priced the job at 35k including materials.
do you think that is too much or too little. should take about 3 weeks to do the rough and 5 days to do the demo. and possibly another week to 2 weeks for finial.
any thoughts ? ideas? or advice? thank you

I have no idea of the rates in Ma. 5 days to demo sounds like a long time. Most demos are less than a day with everything open.

Are you planning on using mc cable in most areas?

How many men are you planning for this job because you are showing 6 weeks of work-- 2 men will be over a $1,000 a day so that's $30,000 with no material. I hope your labor is not correct

Yes most will be hospital grade.
okay yeah i shot it up a lot with the 5 days i just went to give another look, i said 2 days Tops.
Rough will take about 3 weeks.
i pay my apprentice $25 a hour and my license guy $30. Daily labor will be around $440 to $640.
I will thinking $25,000 labor and $10,000 Materials i know hospital grade wire can be expensive but the supply house is closed today so i can get a rate on it.

In the end you are the only one that knows if you can do the job for the amount quoted and still make a profit or at least break even.

As a rule of thumb I find that doing the first of any sort of job is a little harder and a learning experience.

I hope you have a good set of plans and that you take all the time you need to make sure you don't make any mis-calculations on labor or materials. Study the plans carefully because it only cost a little time and latter on it cost money.

Are you including paying yourself in that cost if it's 25klabor and 10k material where's your profit?
