I'd pull # 2/3 SER AL., just to cover my ass and charge accordingly because the specs were not present. Plus this gives options later on when they need to add something. Win/Win in my book. I bet i come out cheaper than the copper you propose to run.
Sure, why not? Set a little sub panel and maybe not even need any disconnect other than the breakers. There is probaby a service receptacle needed if there isn't already one there.
And one day the may need to power a pole light or fountain or who knows what. I'm starting to like SER AL since the price of copper has gone up these last few years.
