I have 2 seperate buildings on my campus that are fed from one transformer. The feeder comes off this transformer into building 1's main panel and within this panel is a seconday breaker that is the primary feeder for building 2. These buildings are several hundred feet apart seperated by a parking lot. I am trying to locate the specific code verbage to get building 2 put on its own transformer as I know there are multiple things wrong with this setup. These buildings were wired this way some 40+ years ago and I just cannot find the specific code verbage I need to justify spending the money to correct this situation. HELP PLEASE.

In general I don't see anything wrong with it. This is a very common way to do such things.

A NC State fan, I presume. Bad week, in football, for unc and ncsu quarterbacks.
As done said one building can be fed from another. The nec 2008 calls for a few different rules than in the past but this building would be grandfathered in on the old codes.
