Please rethink what that does.I know you mean well but that defeats the subpanels seperate ground and neutral.

Yes it does.What got me was i created the problem by trying to comply.But then another violation was brought up about the washer being next to the old 3 wire dryer.Wonder how many of us have that same hazard and never gave it any thinking.They usually do touch each other.When finished laundry room will have 3 dryers and 3 washers

I sure hope not.But we do entertain large groups and plenty of towels are needed.Lets face it with only one set we all tend to have to wait.This way if in hurry we can get job over with fast.Adds nothing to cost.New washer and dryer gets preferance and older ones will last for many years with light use.

Very true or the ones next to grounded dishwashers or frig.I might have opened a can of worms,OOPS sorry about that.
