2 hour rating for service to a fire pump thru a building

We are designing the service to a 75hp fire pump from the power company vault and using MI cable from the vault to the controller. We have an standby generator outside, my question is does that feeder also have to be in a 2h enclosure or iitbs Ok to use regular wiring and conduit.

I'm looking at 695..6 and it appears that the service conductors are to be routed outside the building per 230.6 The conductors from the disconnect are required to have a 1 hour fire rating. (695.6 (B) ??

Why do you mention a 2 hour rating??

We had a similar installation recently in New Jersey and the local AHJ ruled that the generator feeder had to be treated the same as the service feeder - routed outside the building or encased.
