Customer wants to be able to connect a mobile gen to their space. Its a strip mall with 1200 amp 3 ph 208 v service. They use two spaces which means 2 meters for thier store. I would need to feed both panels from this mobile gen.
each meter has a 125 amp molded case breaker next to the meter outside.

I believe this will require 2 auto transfer switches with a common tap box that the mobile gen wires can be landed in. The customer want to supply their already purchased ASCO 300 series 400 amp ATS.

What problem do you guys see with this?

Problems? They only have one transfer switch, or they have two meters One or the other needs changed.

Do they need 2 meters? That may be less cost to change

Well changing the two meters will not be an option. So it would work ok to install two transfer switches with a common tap box to land wires from gen when its needed?

I have a similar situation at my home, and have thought about doing something like you describe. It will definitely work. My question is, if it is a mobile generator, why auto switches? Was the original idea to have a permanently mounted unit?
