2 Service Meters Serving Pool Equipment

At our Condo Community Pool we have (2) Electrical Meters serving the pool and spa equipment. (1) Serves the pool and spa filtration pumps and lights and (1) serves the Heat Pump Pool Heaters that replaced the original propane heaters some 10 plus years ago. We were told that All pool equipment/heaters Must be fed from the same electrical source (meter). Is this correct?

I don't believe there is anything in the nec against that install however it seems to be a waste of money to have 2 meters. Are these 2 meters just for the pool

Nothing in the NEC would address the number of meters. I would ask for clarification of the term "source". Its highly possible your equipment is supplied by one service with two meters which would be normally NEC compliant.
