I have some questions for anyone willing to give their opinion. I have a chance to go to a seminar on 2005 NEC, and work will reimburse the cost of the course as long as I get certificate. Unfortunately as an industrial electrician I do not get to use the NEC as much as I would like. So my use for it is limited, and my experience with it is mostly self taught. Also I am going to take an NEC course some time in the near future at IVY TECH.
So my questions go like this has any one been to one of these two day seminars? Is it worth it or should I just take the IVY TECH course? Also how hard is it to pass these seminars? Since I have only self taught if I put forth my best effort will I be able to keep up, or is it only for people already trained. The seminar counts as 1.5 American Traico CEU?s since I am industrial electrician these do not count at my work place, but can the benefit me in any other way?
Any input helpful and appreciated
