D DP48846 New member Apr 7, 2008 #1 I have an existing facility in which I have to replace flourescent lighting. I am going to repalce the old fixtures with the T8 system. Do I have to abide by the new code since this is not a brand new installation? Thanks

fishin' electrician Senior Member Location Connecticut Apr 7, 2008 #3 I believe it was moved to 410.130(G) in the '08. It is 410.73(G) in the '05. If by chance you're in CT, which is still on the '05, 410.73(G) was amended out by the state building code.
