Can we install twin or tandem breakers in this panel or should I check it with the manufacturer or labeling to see if they allow it?
We would need to see the label or know the model number to answer that. Can we install twin or tandem breakers in this panel or should I check it with the manufacturer or labeling to see if they allow it?
or 2040 3060 every space allows tandemLook for numbers like 3030 (no tandems) or 3040 (10 tandems).
I'm pretty sure most of them have that available as an option now.I have seen 200 ASq D breakers that go across the panel 2 spaces each side
ALWAYS check with the manufacturer to see if they allow it. That process MIGHT be as simple as just reading the label they put on the inside of the door showing you the bus arrangement. But if that label is gone, it becomes a lot more difficult. Can we install twin or tandem breakers in this panel or should I check it with the manufacturer or labeling to see if they allow it?
Read the label on the inside of the cover, it will tell you the Max branch circuit size and type allowed in this panel. Most of this style are limited to 100 amp max branch circuits and tell you were it needs to be placed on the bussing. Can we install twin or tandem breakers in this panel or should I check it with the manufacturer or labeling to see if they allow it?
