I have a copy of the 2014 code and have read through some of the changes but i keep hearing different things about the classic "nipple" debate. I can not find it anywhere in the code but i was wondering if anyone has read changes on nipples going from 24" to 18"? Another person told me that all conduit must be supported now including nipples? I don't see anything in 300 that can fit there arguement.

344.30(A) says
- RMC shall be securely fastened within 900 mm (3 ft) of each outlet box, junction box, device box, cabinet, conduit body, or other conduit termination.
